Israeli archeologist speaks

Archeologist Moshe Fischer of Tel Aviv University spoke March 18 at a program of the Milwaukee Area Biblical Archeology Society, held at Wisconsin Lutheran College. He spoke to an audience of about 55 about the building projects of Herod the Great, the Roman client king of Judea of the late first century B.C.E. Fischer also spoke at Carthage College in Kenosha during his Wisconsin visit. He is on sabbatical from TAU and is teaching at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Photo by Leon Cohen.
