Sarah Chudnow Community presents forum, concerts, exercise

           The Sarah Chudnow Community will host a variety of events in March that include a forum between candidates for Mequon mayor, musical and exercise programs.

          On Sunday, March 3, 2 p.m., Julie Thompson will sing “Songs from the Heart,” featuring a collection of standards, contemporary jazz and folk tune. Selections will include tunes from her latest album “Revierie.”

          On Tuesday, March 5, 2 p.m., Circuit Court Judge Tom Wolfgram will deliver the “The State of the Judiciary in Ozaukee County,” including an overview for the future for the county.

          On Sunday, March 10, 2-3 p.m., students of Mark and Bella Botschstein will perform string and piano selections.

          On Tuesday, March 12, 7 p.m., as part of the Winter Music Series, the Milwaukee Skylight Music Theatre will perform “Cabaret on the Road,” including songs from Skylight Music Theatre’s 2012-2013 season, classical and contemporary musicals, and songs by request.

          On Sunday, March 17, 2 p.m., Shino Sholz will perform piano solos featuring classical, jazz, popular, and spiritual music.

          On Monday, March 18, 2 p.m., Michelle Pike, director of the Aging and Disability Resource Center, and Joanne Ferraro, case manager from the same organization, will conduct the first of a six-week exercise program for arthritis management.

          On Thursday, March 21, 2 p.m., Sarah Chudnow Community will host a forum for candidates for the Mequon mayoral election to be held on April 2. Incumbent Curt Gielow will appear with challenger Dan Abendroth in a forum moderated by Lin Clousing.
