According to the January-February synagogue bulletin of Congregation B’nai Israel in Oshkosh, that shul and the Moses Montefiore Synagogue in Appleton are jointly sponsoring a concert of Jewish music to benefit both.
The event is slated for Saturday, March 9, 7:30 p.m., at Harper Hall of Lawrence University, 420 E. College Ave. in Appleton. A dessert reception is planned to follow the concert.
Performing will be violinist Klara Bahcall of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh faculty and pianist Michael Mizrahi of the Lawrence University faculty.
