Israeli international law expert to speak on rights

          Israeli authority on international law, Tomer Broude, S.J.D., will speak in Milwaukee on Thursday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m., at Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid, 6880 N. Green Bay Ave.

          He will discuss “Global Human Rights: An Israeli Perspective,” touching upon topics including human rights in Israel and the new landscape of the Middle East.

          Broude is senior lecturer at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the former head of that university’s Minerva Center for Human Rights. During the current academic year, he is a visiting professor at the University of Virginia School of Law.
