Timothy Crain, Ph.D., adjunct assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and outreach coordinator for UWM’s Sam & Helen Stahl Center for Jewish Studies, will lead a discussion of the results of Israel’s Jan. 22 elections.
His presentation is titled “Decoding the Election Results in Israel: Exploring the Ramifications of the Election Results for Israel, the Middle East, and the United States.”
The event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 5, noon, at the Helfaer Community Services Building, 1360 N. Prospect Ave. Admission is free, but RSVP is required.
Crain is an historian specializing in Jewish history and European anti-Semitism. He is also interested in conflict studies, particularly the Arab-Israel conflict and the struggles in Northern Ireland.
