Herber is president of rabbis council

           Rabbi Jacob Herber of Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid was recently elected to his second term as president of the Wisconsin Council of Rabbis, as he stated in his column in the December CBINT bulletin.

          His first term ended about three years ago. He now follows Rabbi Shari Shamah, the Jewish family specialist at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center.

          Vice president is Rabbi Noah Chertkoff of Congregation Shalom; treasurer is Rabbi Jessica Barolsky, rabbi-director of Lifelong Learning at Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun; and Greater Wisconsin vice president is Rabbi Shaina Bacharach of Congregation Cnesses Israel in Green Bay.
