On Dec. 17, Heidi Salter (left) from Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun’s Salinsky Program to Feed the Hungry delivered 22 whole chickens, 55 pounds of potatoes, and additional nonperishable foods to Irina Zinger at Jewish Family Services. The items went to 11 households of elderly Jewish immigrants.
