Cantor David Barash of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun is spending much of December and the early part of January in Israel for a sabbatical month, according to the synagogue’s December bulletin.
Barash wrote in his bulletin column that he plans to study and volunteer and to visit some Israeli Reform congregations.
