Congregation Shalom will mark the 25 years of Cantor Karen Berman’s service to the synagogue with a series of events on Oct. 12-14.
The Sabbath service on Friday, Oct. 12, 7:30 p.m., will feature musical guest Dan Nichols, followed by an oneg with music by the Aaron/Hetzel Trio.
A concert and food drive will be presented on Saturday, Oct. 13, 7 p.m., featuring Dan Nichols & Eighteen. Admission is free for Shalom members, $5 for non-members; and the synagogue requests that audience members bring two non-perishable food items for the Jewish Community Pantry.
On Sunday, Oct. 14, 10:30 a.m., Berman and Nichols will perform a Sunday School concert.
