Sapoznik to speak to Yiddish club

The Shalom Yiddish Club will present Henry Sapoznik — klezmer musician, scholar, author, founder of KlezKamp, and director of the Mayrent Institute for Yiddish Culture at the Mosse/Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

He will speak on “Yiddish Culture: The First Thousand Years” on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 1 p.m., at Congregation Shalom, 7630 N. Santa Monica Blvd.
