The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation will host two “Conversations with the Candidates,” featuring the two major party candidates for U.S. Senator from Wisconsin.
Former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson (R) will be featured on Sunday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m. Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin (D) will be presented Sunday, Oct. 14, at 10:30 a.m.
Both will be held at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, 6255 N. Santa Monica Boulevard, and will be moderated by Ben Merens, host of Wisconsin Public Radio’s program “At Issue.”
Questions asked of the candidates will focus on issues of priority to the Jewish community, including Israel and the Middle East. Each conversation will include a question and answer opportunity with the audience.

The election to replace retiring Wisconsin Senator Herb Kohl (D) will be held on Nov. 6 along with the election for U.S. President.
