The Kosher Supervisors of Wisconsin has issued an update and an alert.
“Due to technical difficulties Cybros breads baked over the last few weeks should not be assumed to be Pas Yisroel,” the organization stated in a recent email to The Chronicle. “The kosher status was not compromised and meets the highest standard for the kosher consumer. Only affected was the Pas Yisroel status. The problem has been rectified and all breads with expiration date of Sept. 17, 2012, and on may again be deemed Pas Yisroel.”
In addition, “As of Sept. 1, 2012, Kosher Supervisors of Wisconsin no longer certifies repackaged products of the thecheesemaker.com,” the email states.
