The Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear reopened during the weekend of Aug. 18-19 after extensive remodeling was completed. The museum, located at 839 N. 11th St., houses the collection of 1920s and 1930s Milwaukee memorabilia of Avrum Chudnow (1913-2005). This picture shows Avrum’s widow Anita cutting the ribbon to formally reopen the museum with the assistance of, among others, granddaughters Valerie (at left with glasses) and Sophie (right). About 50 people attended the ceremony and more than 100 attended the weekend events. Photo provided by Daniel Chudnow.
