A gift of quilts

Members of the Wisconsin Jewish War Veterans (beginning second from left) Naomi Horwitz, Jack Keyes, and Lou Goodstein received on July 20 gifts of quilts and greeting cards created by a group of Ozaukee County Christian women. The women, who prefer to remain anonymous, gave the items to Peter Gilbert (left), junior vice commander of the JWV Department of Wisconsin, to distribute. Gilbert also said the women had created quilts that had been sent to Israel to give to Israel Defense Forces personnel. Photo by Leon Cohen.
