For “chair-ity”

The Jewish Museum Milwaukee entered the decorated chair shown here in the Villa Terrace/Charles Allis Art Museum “Chair-ity to Remember” auction. The JMM piece is called “From 4th Street School to Golda Meir” and is shown in the Villa Terrace Gardens, where it was displayed June 3 at the official season opening of the gardens. The chair was one of several that were bid upon and sold at the event, which took place at Villa Terrace on June 20. Proceeds from the auction help support arts programming for veterans, teens, and MPS students, and for special museum preservation projects. Photo by Barbara Budish.
