‘Wandering’ art

Sculptor Richard Edelman of Fox Point applies patina to “Isaac Bound,” one of five pieces he created for the Milwaukee Jewish Artists’ Laboratory exhibit “Wandering.” The exhibit opens Wednesday, June 6, 6 p.m., at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center. It features work of 14 local artists in wide range of media, and continues through June 20. It was created in partnership with the JCC, the Sabes Jewish Community Center in Minneapolis, and the University of Wisconsin Hillel in Madison, and was made possible by a grant from The Covenant Foundation. The new MJAL aims to broaden the impact of Jewish arts locally and regionally and to help build a community of Jewish artists.
