Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun will present the Josh Nelson Project in a concert on Sunday, May 6, 7 p.m., at the synagogue, 2020 W. Brown Deer Rd.
Josh Nelson is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, who with four other musicians creates what his website calls “high-octane Jewish rock.” His music has been integrated into the repertoire of congregation, camps, and communities around the world.
The program will present a wide variety of music. The synagogue’s Cantor David M. Barash, the combined CEEBJ and Milwaukee Jewish Day School choirs, and members of NFTY groups also will participate.
