The Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue and Congregation Beth Israel Sisterhoods will hold their annual joint Torah Fund Event on Sunday, May 6. This year, it will be a luncheon starting at 12:30 p.m. at Beth El, 2909 West Mequon Rd.
The honorees will be Barbara Simon (Beth El) and Gail Sherman (CBI) for their years of dedicated service to their respective Sisterhood organizations.
Torah Fund contributions help provide dollars for financial aid, residence halls, and the libraries at the Jewish Theological Seminary (New York City), the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies (Los Angeles), and the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies (Jerusalem).
