Emanu-El to present ‘Legacy Workshop’

Rachael Freed, founder of Life Legacies, will present a one-day Introductory Legacy Workshop at Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun on Monday, May 14, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Freed’s book “Women’s Lives, Women’s Legacies: Passing Your Beliefs & Blessings to Future Generations: Creating Your Own Spiritual-Ethical Willwillserves as the basis for the program.

“The dual purpose of this workshop is to experience legacy writing for our own well-being and to translate our legacies into letters for our loved ones and unborn generations,” said Freed. “Reflecting on, clarifying, and documenting a legacy is an important part of a life well-lived.”

Writers of all levels are welcome. Fee for the workshop is $100 and includes lunch. To register, send a check written to CEEBJ to the synagogue, 2020 W. Brown Deer Rd., Milwaukee, WI, 53217, Attention: Amanda.

Space is limited. Registration deadline is April 30. For more information, contact Diane Forman, 262-241-0886, or dsforman514@aol.com.
