Wisconsinites attend program in Israel on leadership-building

Three Wisconsinites were among the 400 young Jewish adults from countries throughout the world that were slated to participate in Building Future Leadership, Masa Israel Journey’s annual weeklong leadership conference.

The conference was scheduled to take place March 18-22. The Wisconsin participants are:

• Edward Brody, a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, who is studying at the Masa Israel-accredited Ben Gurion University overseas program.

• Jacob Markey, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, who is participating in Masa Israel’s Otzma, a 10-month service and internship program.

• Sarah Padway, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, who is participating in Masa Israel’s Career Israel, a five-month internship program.

Masa Israel Journey is a project of Israel’s government and the Jewish Agency for Israel. It is made possible through contributions of the Jewish Federations of North America and Keren Hayesod-UIA.
