Author to speak at Crown Judaica

   Lisa Paul, author ofSwimming in the Daylight: An American Student, a Soviet Dissident, and the Gift of Hope,” will speak on Tuesday, March 13, 7 p.m., at Crown Judaica, located in the Joseph and Rebecca Peltz Center for Jewish Life, 2233 W. Mequon Rd.

   The book tells the story of the friendship between Paul, an American college student, and Inna Kitrosskaya Meiman, a Soviet-Jewish dissident and refusenik.

   Raised in Appleton, Paul lived in Moscow from 1983 to 1985. She attended Marquette University Law School and is now a civil litigation attorney in Milwaukee.
