Herzl Camp participates in camp-school partnership

Herzl Camp in Webster, Wis., is one of six Jewish summer camps across the country to participate in an initiative of the Foundation for Jewish Camp, according to a release from the foundation.

The foundation recently announced that it received a $3.3 million grant from the Jim Joseph Foundation and AVI CHAI Foundation for a pilot initiative called Nadiv, developed in partnership with the Union for Reform Judaism. This will create Jewish educator positions to be shared by nonprofit Jewish overnight camps and Jewish day or synagogue schools.

Herzl Camp will partner with the Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School in this initiative.
