Born in Milwaukee, he graduated from Washington High School in 1946, the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1952, and earned his law degree from the same school in 1955.
He had a private practice in Milwaukee for 56 years. According to his family, he spent his last years of practice mainly in the children’s court, protecting the rights of children.
He was a member of Congregations Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun and Anshai Lebowitz. He also was a past master of a Masonic lodge. He enjoyed tennis in his earlier years, golf in his later years, according to his family.
He is survived by his wife of more than 51 years, Sara (nee Weinstein); daughters Deborah (Michael) Scribner of Bayside, and Annde (Douglas) Levi of Vernon Hills, Ill.; son Adam (Shelley) Gimbel of Shaker Heights, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.

He graduated from North Division High School and earned a degree in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he played football for the Hillel Foundation team. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy, attaining the rank of lieutenant commander.
He was the proprietor of Shore Pharmacy and Shore Camera Shop in Shorewood.
He was a member of Congregation Shalom. According to his family, he enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and art.
His wife, Shirley (nee Levings), died in 2009. He is survived by sons Robert (Jeanne Traxler) Goisman of Brookline, Mass., and Richard (JoAnn) Goisman of Milwaukee; sister Dorothy Novey of Shorewood; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Lynn Schohl, and by her son, Philip Lewis Rosenfeld. She is survived by her husband, Norman Rosenfeld; former daughter-in-law Irene (Richard Illgen) Rosenfeld of Chicago; and three grandchildren.

He was born in Milwaukee and graduated from Washington High School, and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned his pharmacy degree.
He operated the North Ave. Pharmacy that his father, also a pharmacist, had started. According to his family, during the Milwaukee race riot of the 1960s, “his own customers kept a vigil outside of the pharmacy so nothing got damaged. That’s how much his customers loved and respected him.” Later, he founded and operated Desco Medical Supply in Glendale. He moved to Florida in the 1990s.
He was a member of Congregation Shalom, B’nai B’rith, the Jewish fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi, Pharmacists of America, and of organizations devoted to finding cures for diseases like muscular dystrophy, AIDS, and Parkinson’s disease.
According to an article in the South Florida Sun Sentinel of April 21, 2002, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s when he was 55. The article also said that before the disease struck him, he enjoyed golf, tennis, and travel.
Survivors include sons Scott (Elizabeth) Schefrin of New York City and Dean Schefrin of Los Angeles; sister Suzi (Mark) Cherner of Glendale; and two granddaughters.

She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Southern Illinois University, and Northeastern Illinois University, earning master’s degrees in horticulture and computer science. She worked for Blue Cross in Illinois.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Howard M. Schohl; daughter Bracha Malke Schohl of Chicago; and father Norman Rosenfeld of Milwaukee.

She is survived by daughters Julie (Robert) Stracks of Winnetka, Ill., Nancy (Alan) Friedlander of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Margo (Arthur) Crafton of Jacksonville, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
