Milwaukee Brewers official to speak at Temple Menorah

Larry Hisle, Milwaukee Brewer’s manager of youth outreach, will be the featured speaker at the Temple Menorah Sisterhood-Men’s Club Annual Winter Brunch on Sunday Feb. 12, 10 a.m., at the synagogue, 9363 N. 76th St.

Hisle is former outfielder with the Philadelphia Phillies, Minnesota Twins, and Milwaukee Brewers; and former hitting coach for the Toronto Blue Jays.

He now resides in Mequon and is president of Major League Mentoring, a youth mentoring program in Milwaukee that works with young, disadvantaged males.

Reservations are required by Wednesday, Feb. 9. Advance admission is $9 for Sisterhood and Men’s Club members, $12 for non-members; $10 for members, $13 for non-members at the door.
