The Jewish Museum Milwaukee will host a trip to Madison on Tuesday, Feb. 16, to tour the Barbara Hochberg Center for Jewish Student Life and to visit the touring exhibit “Houdini: Art and Magic.”
This exhibit was organized by the Jewish Museum in New York. It is reportedly the first major art museum exhibit to examine the life and cultural influence of Harry Houdini, the Jewish magician and escape artist who spent some of his childhood in Appleton. The touring version will be displayed at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art Feb. 11-May 13.
The $45 cost for the JMM trip includes motor coach transportation, lunch, and all admission fees. Learn more at www.jewish muse ummilwaukee.org or by contacting Molly Dubin at 414-390-5730.
