The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center is introducing a Special STARS (Students That Are Really Special) program that will integrate children with diverse abilities in first through eighth grade with other mainstream students at the JCC.
Children will be grouped according to age, and will participate in fun activities that focus on the development of fine and gross motor skills.
Special STARS will meet monthly starting Sunday, Jan. 29, 2:30-4:30 p.m., at the JCC, 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd. The program will be run by experienced teachers, staff members, and community volunteers.
