The Morris R. Guten Auxiliary #487 of the Jewish War Veterans of the USA has applications available for scholarships for 2012.
These scholarships — ranging from $500 to $1,000 — will be awarded to qualified 2012 high school graduates toward their first semester of higher education.
Parents or grandparents must have a veteran affiliation for applying students to qualify.
Scholarships will be awarded on Sunday, May 20, at the Jewish Home and Care Center, 1414 N. Prospect Ave.
