Chai Lights: Lubar honored

David J. Lubar, president and CEO of Lubar & Co., received the State of Israel Bonds Declaration of Independence Award (on the easel at left) at the Wisconsin Israel Bonds 36th annual tribute dinner on Nov. 15 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Milwaukee. About 225 people attended. Event chairs were Bruce Arbit, Jerry Benjamin, Mark F. Furlong, Moshe Katz, Gregory S. Marcus, and John E. Schlifske. In a campaign report, Mark E. Brickman, chair of corporate and institutional sales, said that Wisconsin’s Israel Bonds raised $12.5 million in 2011 “even before the High Holidays campaign commitments were processed.” Photo by Leon Cohen.
