The annual KlezKamp: The Yiddish Folk Arts Program has become a joint program of Living Traditions, the prime sponsor since 1994, and the Mayrent Institute for Yiddish Culture that is part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Mosse/Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies.
This winter’s 27th annual winter KlezKamp is scheduled for Dec. 25-30 at the Hudson Valley Resort and Spa in Kerhonkson, N.Y. According to the brochure, the special theme of the event will be the Yiddish theater; but it also will include its traditional classes and workshops on music, language, food, crafts, folklore, and dance.
