Katz attends Washington mission

Milwaukee architect Phillip Katz was one of 31 members of the Jewish Federations of North America’s National Young Leadership Cabinet who participated in a mission to Washington, D.C., Sept. 20-21.

According to a release, the mission advocated on behalf of the JFNA, “focusing on the Palestinian Unilateral Declaration of Independence (UDI) at the United Nations, prevention of Iran’s nuclear ambitions, protecting charitable giving incentives in the tax code and safeguarding Medicaid.”

The group met with officials of the Israel embassy, the White House, and Congress.
