Chai Lights: Mystic tale dramatized

Yehuda Hyman performed his one-person play “The Mad 7: A Mystical Comedy with Ecstatic Dance” for about 300 people gathered at Congregation Beth Israel on Sept. 24 for the third annual Community Slichot Program. Hyman adapted the play from “The Seven Beggars” by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. Sixteen local synagogues and Jewish organizations co-sponsored the event. Photo by Leon Cohen.
