Julie Feldman, owner of Feldman Media LLC, has been named director of marketing and communications for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. She officially began work there Sept. 12.
Feldman started her full-service media company after more than 30 years of work in television. Feldman Media offered video production, targeted messaging, media training and corporate crisis management.
She had been a familiar face on WITI in Milwaukee for 20 years, making her mark as an anchor, reporter and originator of the daily segment “Fox 6 Health Center.” She has received awards from The Milwaukee Press Club, Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, Midwest Regional Emmys, The American Red Cross and The Special Needs Adoption Network of Wisconsin.
She will be working with Secretary Stephanie Klett, Deputy Secretary Dave Fantle in marketing and helping the growth of Wisconsin’s $12 billion annual tourism economy.
Glendale resident Paul Greenspan was recently hired as the business and facilities manager at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center in Whitefish Bay.
Greenspan has worked for the past two years at Meridian International, a manufacturer of faucets and original equipment manufacturers parts. Prior to that, he owned Milwaukee Kitchen & Bath for 12 years.
