Temple Menorah will honor new members and their families at its annual Selichot Ice Cream Social on Saturday, Sept. 24, 8:45 p.m., at the synagogue, 9363 N. 76th St. The event also will mark the beginning of the High Holiday season.
The event is hosted by the congregation’s Sisterhood. Welcoming congregants will be the 2011-12 Temple Menorah officers. Selichot services will follow the reception, beginning at 9:30 p.m.
