“Yiddish in the 21st Century” was the theme of the 12th annual Greenfield Summer Institute, sponsored by the George L. Mosse/Laurence A. Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and held July 10-14. Presenters included Zackary Sholem Berger (shown here) of Yiddish House LLC publishers, UW-Madison faculty members Tony Michels and Mark Louden, and Joel Berkowitz, director of the Sam and Helen Stahl Center for Jewish Studies at UW-Milwaukee.
