Marni Beth Wichman and Craig Alan Raben, both of Chicago, were married at Congregation Shalom on April 23. Rabbi Ronald Shapiro officiated.
The bride’s parents are Donna and Dr. Harvey Wichman of Bayside. Marni is a physician assistant and is employed by Access Community Health Network in Chicago.
The groom is the son of Susan and the late Barry Raben of Wilmette, Ill. Craig is an environmental engineer and is a member of the faculty at The Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
The matrons of honor were Monette Leva of Highland Park, Ill., and Marla Wichman of Milwaukee. The bridesmaids were Karen Raben of Janesville; Aree Wichman of Chicago; Gia Ben-Hur and Susan Wichman, both of Milwaukee.
The best man was Andy Raben of Janesville. The groomsmen were Mark Wichman and Bruce Doffek of Milwaukee; Matthew Wichman of Chicago; Craig Leva of Highland Park; and Mitch Weinberger of Glenview, Ill.
The couples’ nieces and nephews were in the bridal procession with various roles such as ushers, flower girls, ring bearers, junior bridesmaids, and junior groomsmen.
After a honeymoon to Turks and Caicos Islands, Marni and Craig reside in Chicago.
