What’s nu: Prass to lead Atlanta synagogue

Rabbi Joseph W. Prass, associate rabbi at Congregation Shalom, has left that position to become senior rabbi at Temple Emanu-El in Atlanta, Ga., according to an announcement in the May synagogue bulletin.

He will lead his first official service there on July 8, according to the Atlanta synagogue’s website. Prass has served Shalom since 2007. (See Chronicle, July 13, 2007.)
