The Jewish Museum Milwaukee will present its first Spirit of Community Award at a luncheon scheduled for Tuesday, July 26, noon, at the museum, 1360 N. Prospect Ave.
According to an announcement, the award is intended “to honor outstanding contributions to the community through support for cultural heritage, education, or the arts.”
The first recipient will be Suzy Ettinger, described in the announcement as “a strong supporter of Jewish Museum Milwaukee as well as many other local organizations.”
Event chairs are Barbie Blutstein and Mark Brickman. Dietary laws will be observed. Cost for the lunch is $45; table sponsorships and other donation opportunities are available.
