Chai Lights: Day of Tikkun Olam

Each year around Shavuot, Congregation Shir Hadash constructs and plants a vegetable garden at a local social service agency for its Day of Tikkun Olam. This year the project was undertaken June 5 with the staff and clients of Meta House, an addiction treatment center for women located in Milwaukee’s River West neighborhood.
