Chai Lights: “You, Me & Community”

On May 10, an exhibit of Jewish student photography opened at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center. More than 150 people attended the exhibit, entitled “You, Me & Community.” The students were Milwaukee-area participants in The Jewish Lens and they came from 10 area synagogue schools and the Milwaukee Jewish Day School. The exhibit will be displayed at the Jewish Museum Milwaukee June 12-July 12. An opening program is scheduled for Sunday, June 12, 2 p.m., at which some of the students and educators involved will speak about their work and the project. Photo by Kipp Friedman.
