Incoming University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Chancellor Michael Lovell, Ph.D., will be the featured speaker at the next Economic Forum, sponsored by the Milwaukee Jewish Federation.
Lovell is the former dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science at UWM and has served as interim chancellor since October 2010.
Prior to joining UWM in 2008, Lovell served as associate dean for research at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Engineering for five years.
He also was a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Kentucky after starting his career at a firm that develops engineering simulation software.
