Sadie Teper was one of ten Nicolet High School students to earn a Gold Key in the Scholastic Art Awards competition. Winners will compete nationally for up to $10,000 in scholarships.
In total, the school earned 12 Gold, three Silver, and three Gold Key Winning Portfolios, the largest number of awards the school has received in the history of its participation in this competition. Teper was in the last named group for her photography portfolio; two other students earned Gold Keys for individual works as well as portfolios.
The awards were announced in February, and the students’ works were displayed at the Milwaukee Art Musseum through March 6.
