Milwaukee attorney Robert L. Habush of the firm Habush Habush & Rottier received the Leaders in the Law Lifetime Achievement Award at a reception on Feb. 16 at the Milwaukee Hilton City Center.
Leaders in the Law is a program of the Wisconsin Law Journal. The program “celebrates lawyers and judges who have given of their time and talent to improve the practice of law, the justice system, and the communities in which they live,” according to a release.
The release also states that Habush “has been a significant figure in the development of the law in Wisconsin over the last five decades. A number of cases he has been involved with have helped transform the law, leading to significant protections for workers and consumers.”
Habush has also been active as a philanthropist, including serving as campaign chair and Israel Emergency Campaign chair for the Milwaukee Jewish Federation.
