The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, the Jewish Home & Care Center, and the MJF Women’s Division will hold a “Legislative Breakfast” on Friday, April 8, 9:30-11 a.m., at the JHCC, 1414 N. Prospect Ave.
The goal is to talk with members of Wisconsin’s legislature about the proposed budget and learn more about their priorities and plans. The discussion will offer an inside perspective on the top issues of the day in state politics, at a time when the entire nation is watching Wisconsin.
The moderator will be David R. Riemer, director of policy and planning at Community Advocates and director of CA’s Public Policy Institute. Legislators Reps. Tamara Grigsby (D), Jim Ott (R), and Sandy Pasch (D) are scheduled to attend, and Sen. Alberta Darling (R) has been invited.
