Milwaukeean Idy Goodman in early March accepted an invitation to join the board of the Jewish Federation of North America’s National Women’s Philanthropy.
Goodman recently completed her term as president of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation’s Women’s Division. MJF President Jerry Benjamin and Executive Vice President Richard H. Meyer released a statement in response, saying, “The national system is both right to recognize her and lucky to get her.”
According to the NWP Web site, the organization believes that “the future well-being of the global Jewish community is inextricably linked to the power of women’s philanthropy, the fastest growing phenomenon in fundraising today.”
