The Nathan & Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center announces a new initiative, the Genocide Reading Project. This will bring together members of the Milwaukee community to learn about incidents of genocide, and about how to make “Never again” a reality.
The Project will be introduced on Thursday, Jan. 27, with a screening of the 2010 film “Worse than War,” followed by a discussion of books that examine the Holocaust, Darfur and Rwanda.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd., and will be free and open to the public.
