Gan Ami Beginnings, Preschool & Kindergarten — a program of the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center — has recently released a music CD entitled “We Grow.”
It features the music that Gan Ami’s Jewish Music Specialist, Wendy Cohen, shares with the children throughout the school year.
The CD includes the children’s favorites like “I Wanna Be a Mensch,” “Climbing Up the Tree of Life,” “Hachnasat Orchim,” and many songs from the school’s weekly Shabbat Sing. Some of the songs feature the voices of the children singing with Cohen.
“We Grow” CDs sell for $12 each and are available for holiday gift giving by calling Julie Lookatch at 414-967-8230.
The Gan Ami CD project was made possible through a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation to the JCC. A release party was held Nov. 14 at J-Shore in the Bayshore Town Center.
