A son, Baruch Shalom, was born Oct. 1 to Esther and Moshe Laber of Chicago. He is the brother of Chana Raizel, 15, Menachem Mendel, 14, Levi Yizchak, 13, Sarah Miriam, 11, Shaina, 8, Chaya Mushka, 5, Ysroel Aryeh Leib, 3, and Baila Rivka, 1.
The paternal great-grandmother is Reva Reitman Schlonsky of Glendale.
The baby is named in memory of Rabbi Baruch Shalom, son of the Tzemach Tzedek (1789-1866), the third Chabad Lubavitch rebbe.
