Milwaukeean Frances Dorsch, nee Wine, died Sept. 25 at the Jewish Home and Care Center. She was 76.
She was born in Providence, R.I., graduated from Hope High School in 1951, and came to Milwaukee from Phoenix, Ariz., in 2005.
According to her family, she was an artist who drew “her original ‘doodles’ until the day she passed away.” She also enjoyed fashion and baking.
She is survived by daughters Susan (Loren) Glickstein of New Berlin; Lisa (Alan) Chaiken of Chandler, Ariz.; son Gary (Beth) Dorsch of Boca Raton, Fla.; brother Maurice Wine of Cranston, R.I.; and four grandchildren.
Shalom Memorial Chapel in Providence handled the arrangements; and burial was in Lincoln Park Cemetery there.
