First JTS gay rabbinical student to speak at Hillel

Aaron Weininger is the first openly gay man to be admitted as a rabbinical student at the Conservative movement’s Jewish Theological Seminary. He is scheduled to speak at Hillel Milwaukee on Sunday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m.

Weininger is a fourth year rabbinical student, and he is also working toward a certificate in pastoral care and counseling. He earned his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis.

A light dinner will be served at 6 p.m., prior to the talk. Cost is free for students, $5 for community members.
