A son, Elan Jared (Hebrew name Elan Ya’akov), was born Sept. 21 to Sari (Pelc) and Daniel Edber of Los Angeles. He is the brother of Talia Jaclyn, 3, and of the late Jacob Rafael.
The maternal grandparents are Sheryl and Claudio Pelc of Mequon. Silvia and Manuel Edber of Los Angeles are paternal grandparents.
The maternal great-grandmothers are Bess Rosen Lichterman and Catalina Pelc, both of Milwaukee. Paulina Edber of Los Angeles and Anita Selicovich of Israel are the paternal great-grandmothers.
The baby is named in memory of his maternal great-grandparents, Esther and Dr. Earl Rosen, and of his brother.
